CHOCOLATE
CHIP COOKIES

cups Southern Biscuit® All-Purpose Flour
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars together until fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla to creamed mixture and mix well.
4. In a small mixing bowl, sift flour, salt and baking soda together.
5. Add flour to creamed mixture and blend well.
6. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (optional).
7. Spoon onto cookie sheet and space about 1 inch apart.
8. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes or until done.
