CORN BREAD DRESSING

1 recipe mixture of Tenda-Bake® Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix

1/2 cups corn bread crumbs

3 1/2 cups white bread or biscuit crumbs

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 medium onion, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

3 tsp. sage

4 hard boiled eggs, chopped (optional)

2 cups chicken or turkey broth or water


1. Mix bread crumbs in large bowl.

2. SautŽ onions and celery in butter until tender, yet crisp.

3. Mix the egg into the milk until it is well beaten.

4. Add all ingredients to the bread crumbs and mix well.

5. Bake in a shallow greased pan at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
