STYLE BUTTER POUND CAKE
4 cups Southern
Biscuit® All-Purpose Flour
1 lb. salted butter
3 1/3 cups sugar
5 egg yolks
10 egg whites
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbls. milk
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour tube pan.
2. With mixer on low speed, beat butter until soft.
3. Slowly add sugar while mixer is running.
4. Once all sugar has been added, beat until the mixture is fluffy.
5. Separate eggs and add 10 egg whites to mixture. Mix until light.
6. Add 5 egg yolks and mix well.
7. Add flour and salt. Mix until smooth.
8. Add vanilla extract and milk. Mix until smooth.
9. Pour into tube pan. Bake for 60 - 75 minutes or until done.
