PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
WITH CHOCOLATE TOPPING

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 1/4 cups Southern Biscuit® Self-Rising Flour

2 tsp. milk

6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate bits (or 1 cup)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix butter, peanut butter and sugar.

3. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well.

4. Add flour alternately with milk.

5. Turn dough onto a lightly floured board or pastry cloth.

6. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness.

7. Cut and place cookies onto cookie sheets.

8. Bake for 10 minutes.

9. Melt chocolate bits over hot water.

10. Spread chocolate over cooled cookies.
